Sweetcorn!! Come and see Mrs Smith 🌽

Allotment update: The sweetcorn is ready!
Helen will be at the allotment 9 - 10am tomorrow morning (Tuesday 11th) if you would like to pick some. We also have potatoes, tomatoes, butternut squash, courgettes, beans and rhubarb. Plot 77
Fun fact: sweetcorn grows faster than almost any other crop - growing several centimetres a day in peak summer. ☀️🌽

Last week of term fun 🎨📚

Enjoying our last week of term! We have been exploring our expressive art and design skills 🎨 We have been interested in the pond and life cycles 🐸🐟 Andre has been playing his guitar during singing time which we have found fascinating 🎸 Mrs Akers came to forest school with baby Theo to say hi 👶🏻🍼

Last Thursday more of us headed out to Forest School. We enjoyed painting, playing in the water and doing lots of exploring.

Keeping cool in the heat! 😎☀️🕶

We have cooled down using flowered ice blocks, watering the allotment to help the flowers grow just like we need water to keep us healthy and strong too!
