🌱🍓 Garden Update! 🍓🌱

We've now had our new garden for just over half a term, and it has been amazing to see it growing and developing alongside the children.

Unfortunately, we had a few technical issues with our hill, which has now been replaced. We're giving it plenty of time to establish and settle before the children start enjoying it again.

Meanwhile, our allotment area is thriving! 🥒 Our courgette plant has flowered, 🍅 our tomato plants are growing well, and today we spotted flowers appearing on our runner beans. 🌽 Our sweetcorn and pea shoots are also looking healthy and strong.

The highlight of the week was harvesting our very first strawberry! 🍓 It may have been small and there was only one, but it was a huge achievement and a wonderful moment for the children to see the fruits of their hard work.

We can't wait to see what else we can grow, harvest and learn about together over the coming months. Watch this space for more garden updates! 🌱💚

Yesterday, the amazing team at Buzzee Beez came together to take part in a muddy race in support of the fight against cancer! 💖🐝

Most of our staff and some friends tackled the 5K muddy run, taking on obstacles, mud, and plenty of challenges along the way — all for an incredible cause. Other team members proudly joined as cheerleaders, offering support, encouragement, and keeping spirits high throughout the day.

A huge thank you to Brian Easy Transport for kindly providing our fantastic team t-shirts and adding that extra special touch to the day. Your support was truly appreciated!

Thank you to everyone who supported us — whether by running, cheering, donating, or simply encouraging. Every penny raised is going towards a truly worthwhile cause in the battle against cancer.

We are so proud of our wonderful team for coming together, getting muddy, and making a difference! 💕

PACT for Autism are hosting a calm, friendly Neurodiverse Family session at Wild & Wacky Soft Play

Wednesday 20 May at 6pm to 7.30pm in Harlow, CM20 2JA

Children aged 12 and under can enjoy the soft play, while parents and carers relax and talk

£5 per child, parents and carers free, siblings welcome!

PACT staff are on hand to listen, support, and help families feel welcome

💛 The Buzzee Beez team is taking part in the Muddy Run on 17th May to raise money for vital cancer treatments. 💛

This cause is incredibly close to our hearts as one of our own team members, Kelly, was diagnosed with breast cancer late last year and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

We are so grateful for all the wonderful support Kelly has received from the cancer unit at PAH and St Margaret’s. Their care has been invaluable, and while we are proud to support vital cancer treatments, we would also love to help Kelly and her family on a more personal level during this incredibly difficult time.

Kelly is currently unable to work due to the risk of infection, and as you can imagine, this has placed a huge strain on her and her family.

We are raising money to help support Kelly through this challenging journey, with funds going directly to her family to use wherever they are needed most.

🌿✨ What a wonderful time we’ve been having in our new garden! ✨🌿

The children have been loving every moment exploring the space — from climbing the mud hill and playing in the peekaboo tower, to relaxing in the reading shed with staff and sharing stories 📚💚

There were lots of giggles as even the staff had a go at the mud hill… just to see if they could do it! 😄

Our outdoor kitchen has been full of creativity, with children making their own “perfumes” and “potions” using natural materials 🌸🍃

And of course, the stage has been shining bright with singing and performances from our little stars 🎤🌟

It’s been amazing to see so much imagination, confidence, and teamwork as the children enjoy our new outdoor space! 💛

🌱 More exciting News from Buzzee Beez Pre-School! 🌱

Our brand-new garden is ready, and tomorrow the children will be setting off on their very first adventures in it!

Some of our older children have already been busy planting, and we’re so proud to see their hard work growing. We already have tomatoes, runner beans, and strawberries doing well, with other plants just beginning to sprout 🌿

We can’t wait for all the children to explore, learn, and get hands-on in our garden space. Stay tuned for more updates (and hopefully some delicious harvests!) 🍓
