We’re thrilled to announce that Cherry Reception have won our 3rd Annual Scarecrow Competition! Their entry impressed the judges with its creativity, scare-factor, and clever use of sustainable and waterproof materials.
A huge thank you to our ECO Council for their excellent judging skills. They carefully assessed each scarecrow based on the following criteria:

🌱 Sustainability – use of eco-friendly and recycled materials
☔ Waterproofing – ability to withstand the weather
😱 Scarecrow Scariness – how spooky and effective the scarecrow was
🎨 Creativity – originality and artistic flair

Well done to all classes who took part—your hard work and imagination made this year’s competition a fantastic success.

SLT’s Behaviour Champions this week in KS1 and KS2 are two children who showed kindness and integrity in keeping our communal spaces tidy and safe. Well done Betsy and Harrison!
Next week we will continue teaching children about communal area respect. Children will learn how to show respect for their environment including being careful around wall displays, placing rubbish in bins and picking up fallen coats or bags in the cloakroom. They will also learn that having integrity means doing these things because it is kind and helpful rather than because they have been told to.
