New date for our Choir!

New date: Saturday 19 September.

Following a revised event date to align with the exciting programme of major events taking place at Harlow's new bandstand this summer, we're delighted to invite residents to join us for a spectacular Proms in the Town Park celebration.

Featuring the world-renowned Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, live music, community performances and a breathtaking fireworks finale, it promises to be a fantastic evening for Harlow.

This is just one of many major events this summer which will see our incredible new bandstand – which is now nearly complete – in action.

Bring your flags, picnic blankets and loved ones for a memorable evening as we celebrate another proud moment in Building Harlow's Future.

Thank you all for your comments and support regarding the cancelling of some LMC sessions.

We will return in September with a fresh approach that sees those that are keen to learn, develop their skills and be respectful of their surroundings can have a place and a time to flourish.

We are working with Hare Street to develop this model, they are incredibly supportive and we will get this back up and running.

In the meantime there are a tonne of other Livewore sessions running every day throughout the week to get involved in!

***LMC CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE***

Wednesday night sessions at Hare Street School are cancelled. We appreciate this is disappointing but the behaviour of some of our members has led to us having to stop Wednesday evening music sessions there until we work out how to move forward together with the school,

We hope this will be possible and I will keep you all updated.

I can’t tell you how disappointed I am with a few young people who have ruined it for so many others and permanently damaged our good reputation that we have worked so hard for. Hare Street kindly donate their space to us for free, without their kindness we cannot afford to carry on, we don’t have funds to hire space.

If we do manage to get started again and you think you are someone who has not shown respect to us or to hare street then please save us all a bit of trouble and don’t come back.

This sounds harsh, and it is, but I am so cross and deeply embarrassed by these events.

Steve is brilliant with all the members, keeps them all busy, teaches them new things and gives them the space to be creative. To disrespect the space in anyway is to disrespect Steve. I’m absolutely not having that.
