Another amazing treat today for all the children in the first week of the summer holidays πŸ™Œ The amazing Garg joined us with his collection of animals for us to closely encounter. The children LOVED interacting with the animals and listening to Garg telling us all about them.

Today the children enjoyed making their own musical shakers using a variety of craft materials. They explored different sounds by filling the shakers with different items and had lots of fun shaking them along to songs and rhymes. Making and playing musical instruments helps toddlers develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and listening skills. It also encourages creativity, communication, concentration and confidence as they explore rhythm, sound and self-expression together.
After we had music time 🎢🎡and included the parachute too 😍

We had a lovely little treat of a bouncy castle at group today 😍.
A morning of physical play with bouncy castle and ride on toys which are amazing for
ToddlersMotor Skills & Balance: The soft, unstable surface forces toddlers to engage their core and leg muscles, improving their agility and spatial awareness as they learn to navigate the bounce.Sensory Stimulation: The constant motion and soft landings provide a unique sensory experience that aids in cognitive and physical development.Confidence Building: Learning to jump, fall safely, and balance on an inflatable boosts a toddler's self-esteem and body control.Energy Burn-Off: Bouncing provides excellent cardiovascular exercise, helping to burn off excess energy and promote restful sleep.Pure Enjoyment: Above all, it offers screen-free, imaginative play that guarantees lots of laughter πŸ˜ƒ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜„ 😁 🀣

We made some butterflys and bumble bees as thats what the children told us they see in the summer months. πŸ¦‹πŸπŸ¦‹πŸπŸ¦‹πŸπŸ¦‹πŸπŸ¦‹πŸMaking the bees and butterflies with the children encourages creativity, fine motor skills and early understanding of the natural world. Through painting, sticking and decorating, children practise hand-eye coordination and develop concentration. The activity also provides opportunities to talk about insects, colours and the important role bees and butterflies play in helping plants grow, supporting communication skills and an awareness of the environment
