The Falconry School

The Falconry School The Falconry School is an establishment dedicated to showing best practices in how to care for, handle and - above all - fly birds of prey.

At the Falconry School we provide a range of activities from experience days to falconry tuition, as well as displays throughout the UK and sometimes abroad. Experience days aim to give an insight into the world of birds of prey and to the art of falconry. The falconry courses we offer generally range from 2 to 5 days, although we can provide longer and more specialised courses if required. Whatev

Thank you so much to you all at the Falconry School for such a special day at Bowood Game & Country Show. I've wanted to get into falconry for a while now, and John was full of helpful and positive advice. He went from letting me hold your peregrine falcon in the crowd, to picking my daughter to run the pretend rabbit whilst being chased by your Harris' hawk. A day I will never forget.
Thank you so much to you all and especially John for the advice. My aviary will be built in the next few weeks.

What an absolutely wonderful day yesterday.
John and Cain were brilliant. John so clearly loves his job and was so great with the grandchildren.
You and your team clearly care so much for the birds - it was so so interesting hearing all about them - we learnt so much.

As a side note - the pointers too were adorable.

Once again please pass on our thanks to John. Maybe see you all at the fayre at end of July if we can make it.

Please can you let your team know that me & my husband had the most amazing time on Saturday 18th on our Bird Experience Day.

John, Lola & Cain were excellent & very very knowledgeable! What they didn’t know about the birds wasn’t worth knowing.

The fact that John let my mum, a spectator, handle two birds made her absolute day.

I will highly recommend to this to anybody I know, thank you again & keep up the great work.

What a wonderful day! Shame about the 32⁰ heat but it didn't spoil it for us.
I was a bit hesitant taking my son for his 13th birthday as he is autistic and can find it difficult to understand instructions but I needn't have worried. It was such a relaxed environment and Cain the instructor was great at answering my son's many questions. The birds were wonderful too. We will be coming back for sure
