✨ What goes on before our swimmers arrive?

There’s a lot more to setting up a swimming lesson than simply putting a few pieces of equipment in the pool.

From Mini Movers through to Preschool, every lesson is carefully planned and the pool is set up with the equipment our swimmers need for that particular session. 🏊‍♀️

The right equipment helps us create opportunities for our little swimmers to explore movement, develop new skills, practise independence and, most importantly, build confidence in the water.

For our youngest swimmers, the environment we create can make such a difference. Having everything prepared and ready means our teachers can focus on the swimmers, adapt the lesson to their needs and make the most of every 30 minutes in the pool.

So, while this set-up might only take a few minutes, there is a lot of thought behind it. 💙

This is just one of the little things we do behind the scenes to make every lesson at Chessgrove Swim special. ✨

💙 More than just a swim…

Swimming as a family is about so much more than being in the water. It’s a chance to put everyday distractions aside, share a little laughter and create memories that last long after you’ve dried off. 💦

From splashing about and playing games to helping little ones grow in confidence, these moments together can help build a positive relationship with water from an early age.

Enjoying the water as a family can also help little ones feel more comfortable and familiar with their surroundings, which may help them feel more confident when they begin swimming lessons in the future. 🫧

And sometimes, the simplest moments are the ones that mean the most. A little giggle, a big splash or simply enjoying being together.

Because swimming isn’t just a skill to learn — it’s something the whole family can enjoy. 💙

🎃 HALLOWEEN COLOURING COMPETITION 🎃

It’s time to get creative at Chessgrove Swim!

We’re holding our very own Halloween Colouring Competition, and we want to see your spookiest, most creative designs.

You can choose from one of our Halloween pictures to colour in, which are available at Chessgrove, or why not create your very own Halloween design from scratch?

There’s a big main prize up for grabs, along with some runner-up prizes, so get those pencils, pens and crayons ready!

🕷️ How to enter:
• Pick up one of our printed colouring pictures or create your own
• Get creative and decorate your Halloween masterpiece
• Bring your finished entry into Chessgrove Swim
• All entries must be in by Sunday 1st November

NEW STAGE 2 CLASS – MONDAYS AT 4PM

We’re excited to be launching a new Stage 2 swimming class on Mondays at 4pm at Chessgrove Swim.

Our Stage classes are designed to help children build confidence in the water while developing their swimming skills at the right pace for them.

With our small groups of maximum 4 children, our teachers can give each swimmer plenty of individual attention while they work towards their stage goals.

Our Stage classes include:

Small groups of up to 4 children
Teachers in the water
Certificates and badges as children progress
Replacement lessons available
A private, heated 33°C pool
A free trial lesson so you can see if the class is right for your child
