Community basket
We have added our community basket to the front entrance of the nursery. This basket can be used by the community to leave any curious items for the children to explore. This may be a special stone, curious twig or just something you think the children may enjoy exploring and investigating. All objects which are left will be risked assessed before the children and explore and they will be part of this process developing their skills and responsibility throughout.
We can't wait to see what is left in our basket to explore!!!!!

Child Safety Week – A Message for Our Nursery Families

This week is Child Safety Week, a special time when we focus on how to keep our little ones safe as they grow, explore, and play. At nursery, your child’s safety is always our top priority, and this week we’re joining a national campaign to help raise awareness about preventing everyday accidents.

We’ll be sharing simple, practical tips with you throughout the week—things you can easily do at home, like safe storage of cleaning products, keeping small objects out of reach, and making sure stairs and windows are secure.

It’s not about being perfect—just about making small changes that make a big difference. Together, we can help keep all our children safe and happy.

We have recently been developing our side garden to incorporate growing spaces and to explore where food comes from,. The children have been responsible citizens helping to create the space, look after the land and plant some vegetables. Well done everyone the space is looking amazing!!!
