Football After School Club (Years 3-6)

We're delighted to be working with TeachSport to offer a Football After School Club for children in Years 3-6 on Fridays. The club is a great opportunity for children of all abilities to develop their football skills, build confidence and stay active in a fun and supportive environment. It starts on Friday 11th September.

Tiger Martial Arts led an exciting assembly for all the children today. Your child will have brought home a letter with further information.

The club will run every Tuesday from 4:35pm—and they are offering the first month completely free, which is an amazing opportunity!

Yesterday, we enjoyed a chance to cool off after this week’s sunshine, a huge well done to all our children, staff and parents for coping so brilliantly with the heat. Your resilience and positivity have been fantastic – thank you!

A huge thank you to Winterbourne Tennis Club for their generous donation of tennis balls to our school!

The children will enjoy using them in PE lessons, sports activities, and playtime for months to come. At a time when school sports funding is facing significant challenges and cuts, support from local clubs and community organisations is more important than ever in helping children stay active, develop new skills, and enjoy the many benefits of sport.

We are incredibly grateful for your kindness and generosity—it will make a real difference to our pupils at St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Bradley Stoke.
