A huge THANK YOU to the amazing team at Elite Competitions for coming to our rescue!
When we needed help, Elite stepped up in a massive way by generously providing us with a brand-new sandpit cover, a much-needed storage unit, and a fantastic collection of new toys.
Pupil Council 2025/26 and our new Mini SLT couldn’t believe their eyes when the Elite Competitions team surprised them with an in-person visit! The excitement and big smiles said it all.
We are so grateful for your incredible kindness and support for our school community. You’ve brought so much joy to our playground!

Today we welcomed our new, eldest children into their first day of their last chapter at Hambleton Primary Academy. Year 6️⃣ have been amazing today; settling into life in their new room, helping their buddies with lunch (which they did brilliantly, thank you!!), sharing their summer holiday stories and discussing their new job roles. ❤️

Badges for jobs will be given out in tomorrow afternoons assembly, they will be expected to wear them every day with pride. ✨

We missed the 5 who were absent and your trays await you on your return as well as hearing about your summer holiday activities.

Thank you for a lovely first day and we look forward to the adventures and learning that awaits us this year,

Welcome back!! Tomorrow we will be opening our doors and welcoming you all back to school. We hope you’ve had a lovely summer and are looking forward to starting in your new classes ✏️ 👩🏼‍🏫

The Teachers and staff have been working incredibly hard to get your classrooms looking wonderful☺️

Just a reminder that the Reception children will be let through the gate from 8:55 once Year 1 and 2 are in their classes!

Please can all parents also remember to send their children in with any new medication/inhalers.

Not usually one for sappy Facebook posts, but wanted to say a massive thank you to all the Year 5 & 6 pupils and parents this year. Both classes have been so incredibly hardworking, and it's been an absolute pleasure working with all 67 of them (it just had to be that number, didn't it? 🫠).

To my Year 5 parents: The last two years have been an absolute blast. It's been a privilege to watch them progress from the tiny pupils I met at the start of Year 4, to the passionate and dedicated class ready for the responsibility of Year 6. Every single one of them has blown me away with how much progress they've made over the last couple of years, and I cannot wait to see how well they settle into Year 6. While I won't be in their class next year, I'll still do everything possible to help support them with their SATs, and I'm sure Miss Crayston won't turn down any extra help!

To my Year 6 parents: To say there was never a dull moment this year would be an understatement! I don't think I've ever been as emotional at school than I was today having to say goodbye to them all. They all worked their absolute socks off to get through SATs and I hope they're as proud of their results as I am. I know they're going to thrive in high school, and I really hope they have the chance to pop back in to let us know how amazing they're getting on. Like I said to them today, I'll always be around to try and help them with any work they're struggling with, it's the very least I can do for all the hard work and fun they managed to inject into the last year!

Thank you and your children so so much for an incredible year and I hope you all have a safe and relaxing holiday!

Wow, thank you to everyone in Year 1…. children and parents!!! I have had an amazing time teaching at such a busy time of the year. It was a mad and fun time full of laughter and jokes. We all very quickly built relationships and I was able to see how dedicated and hard working every single child is. To the stars who are now ready to join Year 2…keep shining and keep being you ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
