The first Kadamey School is on its way!

We are delighted to say that our very first physical Kadamey School offering weekly sessions for children to discover the magic of gardening in a Chromatic Garden is now under construction at Sturmer Nurseries Garden Centre 💚💚💚

Imagine a place where re-wilding meets unschooling and your child is able to play freely amongst nature whilst exploring the magic of gardening. It’s time for your child to discover their unique genius!

Thank you LBC and Matthew Wright for asking me to speak up for the Childcare industry again this morning.

So now these new Labour pledged nurseries are actually being labelled ‘State Nurseries’ - I think I called that last year. It’s all about control!

It’s been 15years or so that I’ve been raising this on radio and TV and nothing has changed other than the industry are feeling tightening screws of under-funding and impacted by more and more rules and restrictions.

There are so many more factors at play here but we never get enough time in interviews to actually speak about them:

- stress during pregnancy (impacts children’s health/wellbeing/mental health & maternal mental health)
- children’s developmental delays
- impact of Covid isolations on children
- advice and support given to parents on issues like potty training - Bridget Phillipson appears to lay the blame of delays at the childcare industry!!!
- maternity services/parental support services/SEN services - are all greatly underfunded and failing children because of it too
- and more sadly

Childcare funding needs an overhaul - absolutely!!!

Sadly, so does the whole Government system and services…..

When you need a time out because things are overwhelming - spend time connecting with nature.

Our apologies as we’ve been overwhelmed working on our new project to bring you an all inclusive gardening and wellbeing programme, so we took time to take our grandchildren to our local park and got lost in nature for a while.
