Snow cones 🍧, festival glitter ✨, old-school anthems 🎶, some very enthusiastic High School Musical singalongs 🎤, balloon-popping madness 🎈💥 and a few interesting awards to keep everyone smiling!😂🏆… what a night!

Thank you for filling our school with laughter, fun and memories we’ll never forget. 💙 While we’re sad to see you go, we couldn’t be prouder of everything you’ve achieved.

Y6 have taken part in an impromptu task after our science lesson yesterday, exploring ways to reduce how much rubbish is sent to landfill.
We checked our standard bins (we do currently have paper bins in school) and were shocked at the amount of plastic in them. They weren’t happy with this and have ran with it!
This morning they have written letters to our headteacher, Mr Normington, to persuade him to implement plastic recycling bins in school.
He then challenged them with researching it, so they’ve been busy budgeting and putting plans in place! ♻️♻️♻️

World Cup Soft Start – Monday Morning ⚽

At Lee Mount Academy, we understand that many families may wish to stay up and enjoy the 1:00am World Cup match on Monday morning.

To support our families, we will be offering a soft start to the school day.

‼️Children attending as normal should arrive by 8:50am.

‼️For families choosing to let their child watch the match, our registers will remain open until 10:00am prompt, allowing for a later arrival without being marked late. Anything after 10:00am will be classed as late.

We hope this flexibility helps families enjoy this special sporting occasion while ensuring children are ready for a successful day at school.

There’s still time to book your child’s place on our fantastic Healthy Holidays programme, but spaces are filling up fast! 🎉

📞 To book a space for your child, please use the phone number provided at the bottom of the attached plan. The hours will be 10-2 Monday to Thursday and a meal will be included for lunch.

🍎 If your child is eligible for Free School Meals, there is no charge to attend.
