Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads, grandads, stepdads, foster dads and father figures in our school community. Thank you for your love, guidance, encouragement and the countless ways you help our children grow and thrive.
Today, we also celebrate the wonderful mums who take on both parenting roles and provide the strength, support, and care of both mum and dad every day.
We hold in our thoughts those who are missing their dads, remembering the love, memories, and special moments that remain forever in their hearts.
Wishing everyone a day filled with love, gratitude, and cherished family moments.

Y1 had a great trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. This trip was linked to their current topic ‘Oceans and Continents’ and a previous science topic ‘Animals including humans’. It also linked to ‘The Lion Inside’ a well-loved story from English lessons over the Spring term.
🌳🧤 Forest School Donations Needed! 🧤🌳
As we prepare for an exciting year of Forest School sessions with Oak Apples Forest School, we’re looking for donations of children’s wellies (all sizes) and waterproof clothing to help ensure every child can enjoy outdoor learning in comfort.
If you have any wellies, waterproof coats, trousers, puddle suits, or outdoor clothing that your child has outgrown, we would be incredibly grateful for your support.
Donations can be dropped off at the school office.
Thank you for helping us create amazing outdoor learning experiences for our pupils! 🍃🐞💚
🌍💙 World Refugee Week 💙🌍
This week, we join communities around the world in recognising World Refugee Week.
It is an opportunity to celebrate the strength, courage, and resilience of refugees who have been forced to leave their homes in search of safety and a better future. It is also a time to reflect on the importance of kindness, compassion, inclusion, and understanding.
At our school, we are proud to promote values that help every child feel welcomed, respected, and valued. Together, we can build a community where everyone belongs.
