Last week at preschool, we celebrated Polish Children’s Day with lots of fun activities. The children enjoyed a picnic, explored Polish culture, and had the opportunity to try a variety of traditional Polish foods. It was a wonderful day filled with learning, laughter, and new experiences.

One of our children’s sourced all she needed to create a walking the plank, with a little help from a adult with the heavy tyres she created a play structure for all her friends to enjoy, minimal input from adult, turn taking, lining up, patience, moving across the plank in different ways, confidence in jumping

The children love looking at our neighbours 🐄🐑, what a beautiful place to play and learn

Dens have been a key element of our play this past few days, and today’s outdoor den is AMAZING, with added lighting children are enjoying interactions with each other, imaginative play, curiosity of lighting, looking at stories. And it’s cosy and warm inside their den

The children have been working together to make a jungle. Talking about ideas for the den, “I need a door”, “we need a roof”, developing gross motor skills lifting, stretching and draping the blankets.
They then used their imagination in role play 🪾🪾✨

Following on from the children’s interests, we had a fun dance session incorporating some K-pop! The children loved learning new moves, expressing themselves through music and movement, and building their confidence while dancing together. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, energy, and teamwork throughout the session. 🎶✨🕺💃
