Thank you to Chris at Scammonden View Outdoor Experience for hosting our UKS2 9 target trippers this morning. They loved building dens, orienteering, whittling sticks and toasting marshmallows on the camp fire 🔥 ⛺️ 🗺️ 🪵

Day 2 of Year 6 in London: Thank you to our tour guide, Barbara, for a whistle stop tour around London. We’ve seen Elizabeth Tower (that houses Big Ben), the Houses of Parliament, No. 10 Downing Street, Horse Guards Parade, St Jane’s Park (with ducks, a heron and pelicans!), the London Eye, the Shard and St Paul’s cathedral. We’re now starting the journey home, stopping for lunch along the way ⛪️ 🔔 🐴 👑 🦆 🎡

What a day! What an amazing experience! We’ve loved every minute of our special trip to Court 2 at Wimbledon. Despite the heat, Year 6 have loved watching the doubles matches, looking out for celebrities, munching on strawberries and cream and relaxing on Henman Hill. Now it’s time for tea ☀️ 🎾 🍓 🍕

We had a great time outside today learning some tennis skills before our Year 6 visit to Wimbledon this week. 🎾
