After our fantastic Easter Egg Competition at West Vale Academy, we were delighted to welcome our wonderful judge, Hannah from Sheards Packaging.

With so many amazing creations from classrooms, staff, and PFTA entries, choosing just one winner was impossible! So instead, we celebrated together — every child and every staff member received an Easter egg for taking part.

This truly showed how strong and special our school community is. We are so proud of the creativity, teamwork, and kindness shared by everyone.

Well done to all involved, and a big shout-out to the incredible team at Sheards Packaging for helping make this such a joyful and memorable event! 🐣💛🌸

What a fantastic effort from everyone involved in our school Easter Egg Competition! We have been absolutely blown away by the creativity, imagination, and hard work shown by all the children — the eggs look incredible! 🎨🥚

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff and the amazing PTFA team for helping organise such a fun and successful event. Your support makes these special moments possible for our children. 💛

We cannot wait for Sheard Packaging to come in and judge the eggs — we know it’s going to be a very difficult decision with so many brilliant creations! 🏆🐰

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our PTFA Mother’s Day Shop. It was absolutely wonderful to see so many children excitedly choosing special gifts for their mums and loved ones.

Thanks to your incredible support, the event was a huge success — and we even sold out! 🎉 We’re so grateful to our amazing school community for making events like this possible.

A big thank you as well to all the PTFA volunteers and staff who helped organise, set up, and run the shop. We couldn’t do it without you.

PTFA Valentine’s Raffle is back! 💘

Our Valentine’s Raffle tickets are being sent home with pupils this week 💌

🎟 Ticket details:
• £2.50 per strip
• £5 for two strips

📅 Important dates:
• Tickets to be returned by Wednesday 11th February
• Raffle draw takes place Thursday 12th February

✨ Extra tickets will be available from the school office in the mornings if you’d like more.

📩 Please return tickets and payment in a named envelope, with your name and contact number clearly written on the tickets.
(Unfortunately, tickets without contact details can’t be entered into the draw.)
