As part of their learning about France, the children have been practising how to say “𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫!”, and today they took things a step further by taking part in their very own mini Tour de France 🇫🇷🚴‍♀️

They brought in their cycles and scooters, filling the playground with smiles, laughter, and colourful energy — 💫

The children absolutely loved every moment, cheering each other on and showing fantastic enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see their confidence and excitement grow throughout the day.

Looking for childcare over this holidays? Our Holiday Club is open for children aged 2 to 15 years old and promises a mix of fun, learning, and creativity! 🎉

We hope everyone had a joyful holiday filled with laughter and lovely memories. It’s wonderful to see our preschoolers back and ready for a new term of learning, play, and discovery!

🍂 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦, we’ll be exploring the seasons—so feel free to chat with your child at home about the changes in weather, nature, and colours. We’ll also be diving into reading and rhymes, so any extra practice at home will help build their confidence and joy in learning.

🎉 𝐀 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 to all our little ones who’ve recently been potty trained—what a fantastic milestone!

🚗 𝐀 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 to parents: please be mindful when parking near the school. Let’s keep drop-off and pick-up times safe and smooth for everyone.

📅 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐟-𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞: Northern Lights Preschool will close for half-term on Friday 17th October. We’ll send out reminders closer to the time.

The Northern Lights Preschool is delighted to be recruiting for a preschool administrator to work in our busy and lovely Outstanding Preschool. 🏫

𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬: Part-time position (16 hours). Around 3 hours each weekday.
𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲: £12.50 per hour.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞:

• To accurately log fees.
• To respond to phone and email inquiries.
• To enrol new children in the system.
• To produce and send invoices promptly.
• To liaise with parents and external agencies.

*The right candidate will have:*👨‍🏫
• Experience in an administrative role.
• A minimum of GCSE grade C (or Level 4 or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
