PROUD MOMENT TO SHARE…

We are extremely pleased to let you all know that Natalia our Deputy Manager is now a qualified Level 3 SENCo.

In addition Ellie our Pre-School practitioner has successfully passed her apprenticeship with a Distinction so is now a fully qualified Level 3 practitioner.

Well done to you both; we are really proud! Hard work really does pay off!!

🏖️we’re all going on a summer holiday 🏖️🐚
The children in the caterpillars unit have finally come to the end of this topic, It is safe to see we have had so much fun, the children have made their very own beach hut, made Sunshine’s, explored lots of water play, made ice creams, been on lots of sunny walks and adventures.
Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to, we hope you all have a fabulous weekend and we can’t wait to share our next topic with you all.

Celebrating our lovely School Nursery Leavers on Monday with a tea party and party games. We are going to miss you all and wish you all the best ⭐️

On Friday evening we had a lovely time celebrating our school leavers with a Graduation Ceremony. We are so proud of our little ones and wish them all their best on their new journey. ✏️🎓❤️

The reason why we do what we do 🍎📚✏️

On Saturday we had our Annual training day with Hazel Eastwood-Powell learning about various subjects and strategies to always improve our practice ✏️📚

☀️we definitely made the most of the sunshine when it made an appearance, the children loved having tea in the garden and going on lots of sunny walks whilst having a splash and paddle in the garden 🙂

Wow! What a fun, busy (partly warm) week we have had!

Firstly Catherine and Natalia attended a wonderful training session with .uk with local Calderdale settings learning the importance of song drawing and how effective this is for children’s interaction, communication, developing fine and gross motor skills and many more skills! Since then the children have been engaged lots of different song drawing activities.

We celebrated insect week! Exploring and learning about different insects, where they live and what they eat. The Butterflies unit also made various flavours of different smoothies from scratch to keep us cool. They tasted very yummy.

In the mist of all this busy learning in the warm weather we still had very happy babies and toddlers showing us lots of smiles whilst enjoying plenty of water play in the garden to keep cool.

What a fun week we have had. See you on Monday to do it all again 💛
