A great day with 4 lovely students and 4 unique designs. Finished pieces are stunning and should make each maker very proud. Well done everyone.

A great afternoon of enamelling on copper. Creating three pieces mounted on a base to display at home. Lots of original designs.

A lovely morning working with different forms of glass, fused and put into the metal lanterns. Lots of great creativity to produce beautiful, original finished pieces.

Fantastic finished pieces from my Enamelled Jewellery workshop this morning. Each piece is layered with a top and bottom Enamelled copper piece and then fitted together to make a stylish pendant with matching earrings.

Head to The National Gallery in London to see the work by children from all over the UK. And most importantly the fused glass work by the year 4 children of Hill View Academy, Kirklees.

Take One Picture Decoration | Take One Picture 2026: Explore the exhibition | National Gallery, London We looked at the painting through viewfinders and drew the details we could see. We then found out that Venice is famous for glassmaking. With the help of a local artist Genevieve Thompson, we turned our painting details into beautiful fused-glass mosaics.
