Our camp is set up for the evening, all campers are fed and watered and everyone is looking forward to an evening of socialising! We are very proud of how they have all conducted themselves today.🏕️

That is our DofE expedition underway! All groups have set off and reached check point 1. The sun is shining and everyone is in good spirits! We will update once all the explorers have arrived at the campsite!

It was great to welcome Year 5 pupils from St. Joseph's Catholic Primary Academy, Halifax into our Academy recently and see them get creative in our art rooms! If your primary school would be interested in lessons at our High School - please get in touch!

We are deeply saddened by the death of one of our students, Reco.

Reco was a popular and much-loved student who will be greatly missed by students, staff and our wider academy community. Our thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to his family, and all affected by this tragic loss at this incredibly difficult time.

Support is available across the school both now and as students return after half term, and more information will follow regarding our plans to pay tribute to Reco, as we come together as a school to remember him.

A fantastic full day of training for our Year 9 students as they prepare to complete their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award! 🌟

Throughout the day, students successfully achieved a first aid qualification and developed essential camp craft skills. Every single student impressed Mrs Roberts with their resilience, teamwork and positive attitude.

We are incredibly proud of their effort and can’t wait to see them continue their DofE journey! 👏

We are in exam season and it is important to support revision with the right nutrition. 🧠📚
