Here at Slumdoctor we are organising eye surgery camps in India, Africa and South America.
One-month expeditions are planned for the hospitals San Martin de Porres, Cameroon (November 2018), Guadalupe, Ecuador (February 2019), Sant Sarwan Dass Charitable Eye Hospital, India (March 2019), Saint-Jean De Dieu, Benin (May 2019), St Joseph Eye Hospital, Nigeria (July 2019) and Guadalupe (same as above) (October 2019). St Joseph Hospital, Ghana probably in 2020.
We have partnered up with a couple of eye surgeons. In order to allow them to operate, a set of good microsurgical instruments needs to be purchased, costing approx. £1000..
The picture shows a patient with Pterygium. He can have his sight saved with a simple microsurgical operation. Without surgery, he would be blind in the near future.
The next trip is organised to start on the 20th November 2018. Would you help raising the funds so we can bring the instruments to Cameroon by then?
Please click on the following link:

by doing this you will be able to contribute to this project, which should result in many hundreds of patients who would not be able to access surgery to be operated upon.
Please feel free to share this with your contacts.
Thanks in advance for your attention.
