Well done to our amazing Year 6 children for completing their SATs! They have all shone brightly throughout the week, showing incredible determination, resilience and positivity. We are so proud of the effort and hard work they have shown every step of the way. 🌟👏

We are so proud of our school choir! ⭐️

Yesterday, they took part in the Rotary Club of Halifax School Choir Competition. They sang beautifully and won “Most Entertaining Choir” in their session, but that’s not all…. They were also named the overall primary school winners!

The children truly shone and impressed everyone.

🏉 Today we returned for the Yr 3/4 Tag Rugby Festival in partnership with Halifax Panthers Foundation!

It was fantastic to see 11 schools and over 100 students taking part, showing great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day 👏

Your School Games

Tomorrow, our school community comes together to celebrate and protect the beautiful planet we all share. International Earth Day is a reminder that even small actions, like recycling, saving energy, planting trees and reducing waste can make a big difference.

Our children continue to inspire us with their creativity and commitment to sustainability, from eco-projects in the classroom to caring for our school environment. Let’s keep working together to build a greener, cleaner future for everyone.

What will you do to help our Earth?

We’re excited to offer a training session for preschool and nursery practitioners, designed to build confidence, clarity and practical strategies for supporting smooth, inclusive and emotionally secure transitions into Reception.

Led by our experienced EYFS Leader, this session will explore:
• How nurseries can effectively prepare children for Reception
• Clear expectations around early phonics, writing and number
• Strengthening collaboration with feeder schools
• Supporting children to start school feeling safe, ready and valued

This is a valuable opportunity to strengthen practice, refine transition processes and ensure every child gets the very best start to their school journey.
