Some of you will remember PE teacher John Ward who was highly regarded by pupils & colleagues. He died after a heart attack aged only 39 in August 1979. Many boys & girls at funeral at Mytholmroyd St Michael's. Now his son James has died after a heart attack aged 40. Very sad.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.

This year it will be 22 years since the school closed. Where does time go!

On this Remembrance Sunday thinking of those past pupils who fought in our conflicts.

OK folks, 10 weeks to Christmas! We get a lot of questions regarding photographs and we understand there is another part of Facebook which is called the Haugh Shaw Unofficial....there may be people on there who are members here and visa versa. They may have pictures.

Just to put the record straight, we only have to pictures which were provided just before the school closed and there are shown in the two galleries on here. The quality of them deceased somewhat when they were scanned in....
