Bears House Day Nursery 's Page Help Kimberley Barlow raise money to support Comic Relief

All the children at Bears House Day Nursery will be taking part in a Sponsored Nature Walk to raise money for Comic Relief.

Our little adventurers will be heading out on a walk around the local area and nearby nature spots. We will be keeping our eyes peeled for lots of exciting things along the way!

As you know, we are a small nursery with lots of little explorers, so we will need lots of support to help us raise as much money as possible!

This morning we were very excited to welcome two police officers from West Yorkshire Police to visit the children at Bears House.

The officers spoke with the children and explained how the police help people and keep everyone safe. They reassured the children that police officers are our friends and they are here if we need help.

The officers brought along a selection of their uniform items, including police hats and coats, which the children had the opportunity to try on. This was a fantastic hands-on experience and the children really enjoyed dressing up and pretending to be police officers.

The highlight of the visit was seeing the police van. The children were very excited to explore the vehicle. The officers kindly demonstrated the blue flashing lights and sirens, allowing the children to see and hear how they work.

The children were even given the opportunity to climb inside the van, which created lots of excitement and curiosity.

It was a wonderful and engaging experience for the children, helping them build positive relationships with community helpers in a fun and interactive way.

We would like to say a big thank you to the the officers for taking the time to visit us and create such a memorable experience for the children.
