Attending a group for the first time may feel a little daunting, but our Sensory Play for Breastfed Babies session at Jubilee Family Hub is a warm and welcoming space where you can come along, meet other breastfeeding families and feel at ease.

You’re also welcome to join us during your antenatal period to find out more and gather helpful information to support you in preparing for your breastfeeding journey.

And there’s no need to worry about coming alone — the kettle is always on! ☕️ Come along, enjoy a drink, have a chat and meet other families in a relaxed, friendly environment. 💛

🎬 A trip to the cinema with Starting Well! 🍿

Families enjoyed a special trip to the cinema during the summer holidays, watching Minions & Monsters together and enjoying the full cinema experience.

For some families, it was a first trip to the cinema, while for others it was simply a chance to spend some quality time together without the usual cost of a family day out.

One parent said: “This gave us a chance to come out together as a family without a big cost.” and another mum said: "The holidays are very expensive and this amazing addition to our adventures as we probably would not have had the money to do it otherwise."

Starting Well worker Bev said it was lovely to see so many smiling faces and excitement, with families coming out saying how much they had enjoyed the film. 💛

🏅 Ready, set... GO! 🎉

There were smiles, cheers and plenty of friendly competition on our Sports Day at Jubilee Family Hub and The Outback Community Kitchen & Garden last Friday.

From exciting tug of war battles and energetic sack races to slalom racing, javelin and lots more, children gave every activity their best shot and had a fantastic time making memories with friends and family.

Starting Well Worker Jana said: "I really enjoyed Sports Day with the children because they were full of energy and loved taking part in all the different sport activities and challenges. It was lovely to see so many smiles and hear lots of laughter throughout the day, especially when they received their trophies."

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning such a success. It was wonderful to see so many children staying active, trying something new and most importantly, having fun together.

Here's to many more action-packed days like this!
