Great news! Rabia Institute's Foundation Diploma in Islamic Studies is now open for admissions—and for the first time ever, we're offering an adult-only class alongside our 11-16 class.

Last year's students loved the course so much that after 2 years, they didn't want to leave—so we introduced an optional third year just for them!

Taught by qualified and experienced teachers, this course provides engaging and thought-provoking lessons in Fiqh, Beliefs, Sīrah, Tajwīd, Tafsīr, and Islamic History. Whether you're a complete beginner or someone looking for a structured and comprehensive approach to deepen your understanding, this course is designed to support your learning journey.

Our Foundation Diploma in Islamic Studies course (Jan 2024 intake) is now oversubscribed. Existing applicants will be contacted over the next two weeks, and new applicants will be placed on a waiting list.

For the past 12 years, our organisations have been volunteer-led and run. No payroll, no expenses and no opportunity for personal gain aside from the accumulation of good deads. And this is how we plan to continue operating.

Alhamdullilah, with the barakah of this, we've managed to deliver groundbreaking educational initiatives in this town, including an all-girls educational Institute which has produced its own teachers (who now teach in a voluntary capacity), a weekend boys school with over 100 students, we've delivered hundreds of events and courses, distributed thousands of free books, delivered a host of youth activities and spearheaded Halifax's response to the COVID-19 pandemic via the volunteer-run Halifax Community Fridge.

But aside from the time and dedication of our volunteers, we've also been supported by a few until-now anonymous donors who have financially supported our projects - allowing us to avoid any form of grant funding.

We're now in the process of developing and launching another much-needed initiative and are extending an opportunity for sponsors to back the project with either a one-off or monthly donation. 🏫 Primarily for 11 to 16-year-olds, but adult learners will be accommodated on a discretionary basis.
