As part of Active Calderdale, we were very excited to accept a grant for a brand new bike and scooter shelter next to our school field. 🚴‍♂️

Coming to school on foot or by bike or scooter is a great way to stay healthy, keep cars off the roads and help the planet.

The bike shelter is ready to use and we look forward to hopefully seeing many children and families making use of it! 🚲

On Wednesday last week, West Yorkshire Fire Service visited Year 5. They learned about what the Fire Service do, as well as how we can take steps to protect our homes from accidental fires.

They also talked about how we can keep safe around bodies of water

The children are very much enjoying watching the bees buzzing about the beautiful poppies growing in the bottom playground! Plenty more poppies still to bloom too!

We are hosting a Leaver’s Disco for our Year 6 pupils, and it’s going to be a fantastic evening of singing, dancing, and memories. There will even be a photo booth to capture the fun!

Our Year 6 pupils have auditioned and been cast for their upcoming production of "Pantastic," and we can't wait to share it with you.

Nursery had an exciting start to the term releasing butterflies down in Trinity Woods! Last term we watched our caterpillars grow and make their chrysalises and finally we have seen them turn into magnificent butterflies.

Some children even had a turn at holding a butterfly before they flew away! Thank you to Mrs Long for taking care of them over the half term holiday for us.🦋
