We’re kicking off our End of Year Fun Week with a splash of colour! 🎨✨ Our children came dressed in their favourite colours today, making Gingerbread House brighter and more colourful than ever! 🥰🌈

Before we take our summer break, we’re finishing the year with a whole week of special themed days for our amazing children! 💜

From baking and experimenting to partying and a cosy teddy picnic, we’ve got lots of fun planned! 🧁🔬🎉🧸

We can’t wait to make some lovely memories together and celebrate another wonderful year at Gingerbread House Nursery. 🏡✨

What a fantastic day our children had on their trip to Wellholme Park! We caught the bus together, practising road safety, listening skills and learning all about travelling on public transport. 🚍💛

Before heading to the park, we made a stop at Tesco, where the children explored the community, looked around the shop and even took part in voting with the blue tokens – a great opportunity to learn about making choices and helping local causes. 🛒💙

At the park, the children had so much fun climbing, balancing, swinging, running, playing football and exploring the different equipment. It was wonderful to see their confidence, teamwork and friendships grow throughout the day. 🌿⚽🛝

🛼✨ Our school children had an amazing day out! We started with a visit to the beautiful Piece Hall, exploring the history, architecture and independent shops, before heading off for a fun-filled rollerblading session! 💜

It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another, building confidence, developing balance and coordination, and most importantly, having lots of fun together! 😊

A fantastic day full of laughter, new experiences and memories to treasure. 💛

Last week, we celebrated Ebony and Sally’s birthdays with a special baking activity! The children had lots of fun decorating delicious cakes for their birthday, while the little ones made their own tasty buns to enjoy as part of their puddings. 🧁🍰

It was a wonderful opportunity to encourage creativity,practice turn taking, and celebrate as a nursery family. 💛

Fresh air, big adventures and even bigger smiles! 🌿💚 Nothing beats a day exploring, climbing and learning through play. 🍃

Look what’s finally done,just done in time for our school children to rejoin us for a fun filled summer😆

Today we had the brilliant idea of making an England themed memory/ matching game using the England players squad for 2026 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The children have been loving the football activity’s we’ve been doing recently and have even been requesting three lions or England songs for circle time rather than our usual sleeping bunnies (which we all know how much that nursery rhyme is a favourite😂)
I just win we would’ve thought of this at the start of the tournament rather than having possibly 2🤞🏼 games left.
