☕ Grandparents' Afternoon Tea ☕

Year 1 had a fantastic afternoon on Wednesday, sharing tea, cake and stories with grandparents and family members as part of their history topic. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create such special memories ahead of Grandparents' Day this Sunday. ✨

🌿🍃 Our Spruce children have been busy transforming their outdoor area! 🍃🌿

Thanks to the generosity of Outdoor Classrooms, the children have planted willow trees in their garden and carefully arranged them so that, as they grow, they will form a wonderful living den to play, learn and explore in. 🌱✨

As if that wasn't exciting enough, they also received a special delivery last week... a bug hotel! 🐞🐝🦋 The children can't wait to see which mini beasts will make it their home.

A huge thank you to Outdoor Classrooms for their kindness and support. These fantastic additions will help our children connect with nature, develop their curiosity, and enjoy even more outdoor learning opportunities. 💚

We can't wait to watch the willow den grow and flourish 🌳✨

🐹 Meet Colin the Capybara! 🐹

This week, our Year 6 pupils were introduced to their brand-new mascot, Colin the Capybara!

Each week, Colin will be awarded to the Year 6 class that stands out through excellent attendance, positive behaviour, effort and embodying our school values.

A huge congratulations to Hawthorn Class, who are the very first winners of Colin! 🎉

Will Hawthorn hold on to Colin next week, or will another class take the title? 👀
