As we look ahead to a new academic year this September, we're reflecting on a project that perfectly captures what a new beginning is all about. 🌱✨
Being part of the Seeds of Hope programme has been a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to work alongside Everybody Arts and the wider community, nurturing not only plants but creativity, confidence and connections.
Over the past few months our children have:
🌿 Created beautiful nature weavings and ceramic stepping stones with visiting artists Sarah O'Boyle and Rosie Moon;
🌼 Grown plants with the support of our Forest School teacher, Natasha Brown, ready to become part of the Everybody Garden;
🤝 Worked alongside artists, volunteers and community partners, helping to create a vibrant space that celebrates hope, growth and belonging.
Together with Everybody Arts, Phoenix Men's Shed and over 190 children, volunteers and community members, we've shown what can be achieved when a community grows together. 🥰
As we prepare to welcome everyone back in September, we're reminded that every new school year is like planting a seed. With care, encouragement and opportunity, every child has the chance to flourish. 🫶🏼
Here's to another year of learning, growing and sowing the seeds of hope.
With special thanks to Harriet for this beautiful opportunity and to Matt Radcliffe Photography for capturing the magic so naturally.
Happy summer, everyone! ☀️

You ALL performed with confidence, professionalism and character, and we hope that the beauty of last night stays with you for the rest of your lives. 🥰
A HUGE thank you to all of the staff at the theatre and in school for making their dreams come true, and to our wonderful families for your support, encouragement and love. 🫶🏼

As we kick-start our Sports, Health and Wellbeing Week in school, we would like to thank Mrs Broadbent for organising this weekend’s amazing Family Forest session!
With over 60 members of our school community in attendance (including the wonderful support of Mrs Dumbreck), the morning was filled with an array of creative Forest School activities and provided the opportunity for families to come together in the great outdoors… the best medicine for anyone’s wellbeing.
