🤍New children’s toilet with two cute sinks and taps on sensors for independence & safety

Room 1 flooring is now complete transforming this wonderful room and how we organise the space. Whilst the areas of and learning are unchanged, they are enhanced further with:

🩶Extended acoustic backed LVT to increase the space for messy play, meal times and general hygiene without compromising on warmth and aesthetic
🩶New carpet tiles in the main play area adding a colour texture, warmth and a comfort for little feet and prone position play
🩶Better acoustics - as with the Indoor Garden all flooring has acoustic backing creating a quiet, calmer environment
🩶Areas of continuous provision zoned with shelving all along the room for focused activities with loose parts

Our beautiful Indoor Garden has had a huge transformation over the weekend - the first phase of our next whole Nursery development. This includes:

🩶Extended matting by the entrance to our outdoor garden with specific areas for shoes, hats, gloves, tissues, dustpan and brush, broom and other self care and independence tools in line with our teaching.
💚 Grass carpet tiles in the centre of the room for texture, warmth and a comfortable seat to enjoy our new magnetic building materials, wooden construction and small world.
🩵New carpet tiles throughout zoning Each area is enhanced by our wonderful team with visual inspiration to guide children how to play or create and replicate what they see. This stimulus is important for focus and means children are likely to stay with an area when they have more purpose.
🤍Better acoustics - all our flooring is of the highest standard and has acoustic backing. This has significantly improved the acoustics in the room making it a quieter and more comfortable environment.

The changes have been a huge success and we are thrilled 👏🏻.
