We had a fantastic lunchtime today! The children enjoyed exploring new equipment, listening to music, reading books, and eating their packed lunches outside in the warmth (just lacking a little sunshine).📚🏏🎾⚽️

It was wonderful to see everyone working together, taking turns, and playing so nicely with one another. A lovely lunchtime full of fun, learning, and friendship! 😊💚

Year 3, 4 and 5 enjoyed their trip to Leeds Royal Armouries Museum exploring the weapons and armour used throughout the world in battles and observing a jousting battle.

Fairytale Friday – Little Red Riding Hood 🧺🐺
Today, our children, along with all the Great Heights Trust schools stepped into the enchanting world of Little Red Riding Hood.
We enjoyed a range of activities from retelling/modernising the story as a whole school, to a mock trial to decide the fate of the Big Bad Wolf.
At lunchtime we joined in with the Jo Cox “Great Get Together.” Unfortunately, the weather had other ideas, so our woodland picnic with our wonderful community instead became a cosy indoor picnic instead! 🧺🌳☔
We can’t wait to hear the stories created by other trust schools too Marsden Junior School, West Vale Academy, The Greetland Academy, Carlinghow Academy, Raynville Academy, Leeds, The Mirfield Free Grammar and Colne Valley High School 😊
