🏉 Talk Your Walk Foundation Visit! 🏉

Today we were delighted to welcome Quentin Laulu-Togaga'e and Suaia Matagi from the Talk Your Walk Foundation. Both have played Rugby League and have proudly represented Samoa.

Q and Sui delivered an excellent talk about staying safe, making positive choices and being the best version of ourselves. They shared powerful messages about kindness, resilience and having the confidence to face challenges without fear.

The children also had the exciting opportunity to learn the Haka and were treated to a special performance by both players, which was an unforgettable experience for everyone.

A huge thank you to Q and Sui for a fantastic and inspiring morning and John from Halifax Panthers Foundation which helped organise the event.

Following on from the assembly, Year 5 completed activities based on the assembly, reaffirming the messages and focusing on spreading positivity!👏 🏉

What a great day! 🌟

Flat Stan First Aid visited us to teach the children vital skills such as CPR and how to help someone who is choking.

The children were fantastic throughout – engaged, enthusiastic, and keen to learn. They gained so much valuable knowledge that could one day help save a life.
We are so proud of them! 👏💚

Year 5 Visit to Shibden Hall

Year 5 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Shibden Hall this week, where they explored the historical significance of the hall.

During the visit, the children took part in workshops and had a guided tour, bringing their learning to life and deepening their understanding of local history.

We were incredibly proud of the children, who were excellent ambassadors for our school. Their behaviour was exemplary, and they received praise from numerous members of the public throughout the day.

Well done, Year 5!
