I've been teaching Marco Pirroni (Adam and the Ants, Sinéad O'Connor, Shakespears Sister) for about a month now and here's a nice review he left for me on my Google Business page:

After playing by ear all my life I decided I needed to learn some of the grown up stuff.
As I have always played things that I have written I picked up some bad habits and with Des’ help I'm beginning to unlearn them and replace them with proper technical knowage.
After a months worth of lessons, its all becoming a lot clearer.
Des has an incredible ear and an even better eye, he can tell whether I'm playing an upstroke or downstroke just by looking.
He's incredibly patient and wont let anything pass him by.
A great player and teacher. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
