⚽ What a match at Adams Park!

Yesterday our charity football game brought together children from our residential homes and support workers for an afternoon full of energy, teamwork and fun.

The final score saw the team in white shirts take the win 6–4, but the real highlight was the incredible spirit on the pitch ⭐

From kick-off to a thrilling penalty shootout, everyone got involved, with plenty of smiles, laughter and great moments shared along the way.

With around 50 spectators cheering from the stands, it was amazing to see such strong support for a fantastic cause. 💙

We’re proud to have raised money for The Link Foundation, helping to support children who need it most. So far, we’ve raised an incredible £571!

There’s still time to donate, so please don’t hesitate to support:

At Keys Group, our employer brand is powered by people and inspired by ambition - and Pippa Condliffe, Service Manager at Selfwood, is a perfect example of this in action.

Pippa’s journey into childcare may have started unexpectedly, but through commitment, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people, she has built a meaningful and impactful career. Along the way, ongoing support from both management and clinical teams has helped her grow, develop, and take on new challenges with confidence.

Her story is a powerful reminder that working in care takes the right kind of person. It requires patience, compassion, resilience, and an open mind. It’s not always sunshine and rainbows - the role can be demanding - but when those moments of connection, progress, and breakthrough happen, they are truly incredible and make everything worthwhile.

With the right support around you, both personally and professionally, a career in care offers a sense of purpose and reward that’s hard to match.

If you’re ready to be part of something meaningful, and feel you have what it takes to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

🌟 This week in our Choose to Care campaign, we’re highlighting our central support teams and the vital role they play in our mission to provide the best care and support to the people we support. 🌟

We had the privilege of sitting down with Angela Holloway, Quality and Regulation Manager at Keys Group. Angela’s journey into care started with a leap of faith - and 16 years later, she’s still making a difference, just in a different way.

Now working in Quality, Angela plays a key role behind the scenes, helping ensure services are safe, consistent, and always improving. While she may not be on the front line of care, her work supports teams to deliver the best possible outcomes for the people we support.

Her story is a powerful reminder that it’s not just those providing direct care who contribute to our mission - it’s everyone working together, across every role, that helps change lives.

A career in care isn’t always something people plan - but it often becomes one of the most rewarding choices they ever make ❤️

Many of our colleagues discovered care through unexpected paths and found a career full of purpose, progression, and impact.

✨ Meet Ian - who moved from being a Prison Officer to Deputy Manager in one of our Children’s Residential Homes.

✨ Meet Emily - who turned her passion for helping others into a career supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and acquired brain injuries, progressing to Senior Support Worker.

Their journeys show there’s no single route into care - just the opportunity to make a real difference.

💙 We hope their stories inspire more people to .

What stereotypes do you hear about working in care?

Here are a few we hear all the time:
❌ “It’s all about personal care.”
❌ “Care workers don’t make a real impact.”
❌ “There’s no career progression in care.”

We’re proud to say - none of these are true.

As part of our campaign, we’re here to bust the myths around care careers.

✨ Care isn’t just about personal care.

At Keys Group, our colleagues support adults and young people to:
• Build independence and confidence
• Form meaningful, trusting relationships
• Do the things they love
• Try new activities and go on adventures
• Achieve things they once thought weren’t possible

Care is about helping people live happier, fuller lives - and sharing those special moments and achievements along the way.

Don’t just take our word for it - take a look below at some of the amazing achievements made possible thanks to the care and support of our brilliant colleagues.

What if your job changed lives? 💙

Working in care means making a difference every day. Whether you’re supporting adults, children and young people directly in our homes or schools, or working behind the scenes in one of our support roles, every role helps create brighter futures for the people we care for.

Care isn’t just about personal care - it’s about connection, purpose, and impact. There are so many ways to make a difference, and every role plays a part.

That’s why we’re launching - a four week campaign celebrating what a career in care really looks like. We’ll be sharing real stories from colleagues across our organisation, in their own words, showing what makes care such a rewarding career.

Thinking about your next step? We have roles available across our organisation, from frontline support to clinical and support function roles.
