Year 6 had an amazing time at their leavers’ party tonight! It was an evening full of food, dancing and laughter. Thank you to all the staff who made it possible and to our fantastic year 6 children who we will be sad to see leave tomorrow!

Some of our Year 5 children took part in the DPA Recorder Festival on Friday at Brierley Hill Civic Hall. In preparation for the event, the children had been practising four pieces at school, which they performed alongside pupils from many other schools during the festival. The morning was packed with fun, energetic musical activities, giving everyone a fantastic opportunity to perform together and celebrate their hard work.

Year 5 had a great first day completing bikeability. They refreshed essential cycling skills and completed their bike safety checks. Then they headed out onto quiet roads to practise starting and stopping safely, positioning themselves correctly on the road, and communicating clearly with other road users using signals and observations. They’ve all done really well and are looking forward to continuing their learning tomorrow!

Our Year 4 children thoroughly enjoyed their sleepover last night! They had a fantastic evening making delicious cheesecakes and designing their very own eye masks. They then settled down for a fun movie night before heading off to bed. A huge thank you to all the staff who helped make this special experience possible.
