🌻 Inspired by When Summer Comes from this month’s collection, we took our love of sunflowers and explored them in all sorts of ways; investigating the seeds, building fine-motor skills through scooping and transferring, experimenting with natural colour and making simple bird feeders.

This is the magic of connecting seasonal stories with the world around us.

When children can read about something, then touch it, explore it, question it and play with it in real life, they’re not just hearing a story, they’re experiencing it. ✨

That’s what our Little Oaks collections are designed to do: beautiful seasonal stories that spark curiosity, inspire play and encourage children to notice the world around them.

🐝 Save this one for later! 🍯

A simple honey bee playdough invitation inspired by our bee stories this month, because National Honey Bee Day was the perfect excuse for some golden play dough! 📚🌼

Perfect for creating your own little bees with pipe cleaners and straws, and lots of open-ended play.

Suitable from around 18 months+ with close supervision. Younger children will need particularly close supervision around the loose parts. Not suitable for eating. Honey is not advised safe for consumption by children under 12 months old.

Store in an airtight container or zip-lock bag to keep it fresh. 💛
