🎈 Playdates, Supertato & Summer Treat Days! 🍟

​And just like that, the final week of our summer holidays is wrapped up! We took things at a slightly slower pace this week, but it was still packed to the brim with laughs and special moments. ☀️✨

​Here is a quick look at how we spent our last summer days:

​Home Comforts & Role Play: We started off with a cozy day of play at home—building towers, chasing bubbles around the garden, and taking extra special care of our baby dolls (which has been a huge favorite all week!). 🫧🧸

​Story Rangers Birthday Bash: Next, we were invited to a super exciting party celebrating Story Rangers' 2nd birthday! We had a blast with face painting, fun activities, and a wonderful story session reading Supertato: Happy Birthday, Nitwit! 🎨🥔 Story Rangers Stourbridge & Dudley

​End-of-Summer McDonald’s Treat: After all the birthday excitement, we headed over to McDonald’s for a special end-of-summer celebration—nuggets all round! 🍗🍟

​Parks, Ducks & Soft Play Fun: For our final day of the summer holidays, we headed to Mary Stevens Park to play on the playground, feed the ducks, and say hello to all the lovely dogs out on their walks. We then finished off the summer in style with a fun trip to soft play! 🦆🛝

​It has been an absolutely fantastic summer filled with unforgettable adventures, big milestones, and wonderful new experiences.

​Next week, we turn the page and begin our new routine! We can’t wait to welcome our new friends into the setting and start a fresh chapter together. Bring on the new term! 🎒❤️

🦖 Dinosaurs, Discoveries & Bittersweet Goodbyes ❤️

​The tissues were definitely out today! I wrapped up the week with a mammoth, dinosaur-themed adventure at All Things Wild to celebrate a very special little boy’s final day with me after three and a half incredible years together. 🦕🥹✨

​We made sure his last day was packed with prehistoric fun, big roars, and as many dino-sized hugs as I could squeeze in!

​Dinosaur Express: We hopped on the train for a safari ride around the dinosaur trail to spot all the roaring giants—and even got to eat our lunch directly underneath them! 🚂🦖🥪

​Pint-Sized Animal Encounters: We explored every inch of the park and met so many amazing animals, from capybaras and kangaroos to porcupines, camels, goats, and the sweetest tiny baby rabbits. 🦔🦘🐇

​3.5 Years of Memories: Watching this little person grow from a baby into the confident, funny, and kind child he is today has been the absolute biggest privilege.

​While it was a sad "see you later" and so hard to say goodbye, I couldn't be prouder of him as he gets ready for his next giant step into primary school! Thank you to his wonderful family for letting me be such a big part of his early years. I will miss him beyond words, but I know he is going to shine so bright! 🌟❤️

🚂 Steam Trains, New Friends & Bittersweet Goodbyes ❤️

​What an incredible start to the week we’ve had! With just one week left of the summer holidays, our days have been packed with exciting new beginnings, grand adventures, and special milestones. ☀️✨

​Here is a look at what we’ve been up to:

​Welcoming New Friends & Garden Play: We kicked things off with a lovely, gentle day welcoming our new little friend into the setting! We had so much fun playing in the garden and exploring all the new baby toys to get ready for their official September start. 🧸👶🌱
Finishing the day off with a cheeky Costa treat 😋

​Full Steam Ahead on the Severn Valley Railway: Next was a huge adventure! We hopped on the steam train from Kidderminster to Highley—it was a bit of a bumpy ride, but we absolutely loved every second! 🚂💨

​Discoveries & Puppets at The Engine House: Once at Highley, we explored the amazing locomotives, including the Royal Mail carriage where the kids had a blast sorting through the post! We even caught a fantastic Robin Hood pantomime featuring brilliant puppets. 📮✉️🎭

​A Bittersweet Farewell: Tomorrow is going to be an emotional day as we say goodbye to a special little one Caz has had the privilege of caring for over the last three and a half years. We’re planning a massive dinosaur-themed adventure for his final day with us! 🦖🦕❤️

​From welcoming new faces to getting ready for school transitions, it’s such a privilege watching these little people grow. Now on to squeeze in every last drop of fun for week six! 🦖✨

🎪 Week 4: Animals, Circus Tricks & Garden Water Fun! 💦

​Week four of the summer holidays is officially in the books! We still have two full weeks of adventures left, and the fun is nowhere near stopping! ☀️✨

​Here is a quick look at another jam-packed week filled with laughter:

​Wild Encounters: We kicked things off with an incredible hands-on session with the Animal Lady! The children were so brave meeting snakes, owls, giant cockroaches, and even a skunk! 🐍🦉🦨

​Clown Magic at the Arboretum: Next, we practiced our circus tricks before enjoying a hilarious clown show out in the field at the arboretum! 🔴🤹‍♂️🌳

​Beating the Heat: On a super hot day, we made the most of the cool morning air playing in the garden before heading to the air-conditioned soft play. 🛝❄️

​Garden Water Play: We wrapped up the week cooling off with non-stop splashy water play in the garden! 💧💦

​Another fantastic week full of brave moments, big smiles, and non-stop memories. Bring on week five!

Sunflowers, farm animals, and sunny picnics! ☀️🌻 We’ve had the absolute best week soaking up the warm weather and making memories.

​Here’s what we got up to:

🌸 Joined in on the local council’s fun garden activities at the park with great friends.

🐐 Visited the Urban Farm at Woodgate Valley Country Park to feed the sheep and goats (plus saw the pigs and donkeys!).

🚜 Finished the week at Top Barn—feeding even more animals, playing in the sandpit, snapping photos in the sunflower fields, and topping it all off with ice cream!🍦

​Lots of picnics, endless laughs, and sunshine. Next week promises even more picnics and animal adventures! 🐑✨

🌸🎪 Wellies, Wings & Big Top tricks! ✈️🌸

Week two of the summer holidays is officially in the books, and it’s safe to say this childminder will be sleeping well tonight—what a whirlwind we’ve had! 😴✨

We’ve crammed in so many adventures, laughs, and delicious picnics over the last few days. Here’s a quick peek at what we got up to:

High-Flying Fun at RAF Cosford: We kicked off the week surrounded by incredible airplanes and huge vehicles! It’s not every day you get to eat your packed lunch directly under a massive aircraft. 🛩️🥪

Splashy Stream Adventures (and Living Room Rescue!): Next up was a day full of non-stop laughs with friends and wellies overflowing with stream water! When the heavens opened up and the rain started pouring, we quickly pivoted to Plan B: bringing our picnic indoors for an epic living room floor feast. 🌧️🏠 (Fingers crossed the rain holds off for our farm trip next time! 🚜)

Circus Magic with Dippy: We rounded off the week by becoming full-time clowns! The kids loved learning new circus tricks, topped off by an amazing show from Dippy the Clown. 🔴🤹‍♂️🪄

It’s been another fantastic week filled to the brim with singing, belly laughs, rainy-day pivots, and unforgettable memories. Now, time for a well-deserved sit-down! ❤️

🌸🎓🌿 Graduation Party 🌿🎓🌸
Today was incredibly special—and very emotional—day as we celebrated our two eldest Flower Tots heading off to big school! 🎓✨

We had the most wonderful party at our absolute favorite place in the world, Bodenham Arboretum. Safe to say, all the children, adults, and animals had the absolute best time filled with so much laughter and cuteness ❤️

I definitely became an emotional wreck trying to talk about these amazing little ones, whom I’ve had the absolute privilege of caring for, for over three years. Seeing them ready for their next big adventure makes me realize all over again that I truly have the best job in the world. 🌍🥰

My Mom & Dad: For always being on hand to help with everything.

My wonderful parents: Thank you for putting your trust in me to care for your precious children.

These children are such a joy, and while there were plenty of tears today, my heart is just so full! ❤️✨
