After braving a very windy rugby pitch first thing followed by another cold football pitch, I’m finally grabbing a moment (and a hot drink!) before it’s time to collect the big one from his rugby tour!!! No rest for the mums, even on Mother’s Day; plus, the clocks went forward just to make sure we got one hour less sleep! 🤣

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY - what are you up to today? Sometimes it can be a difficult day, bringing feelings forwards of your mum you may have lost ❤️

Whatever you are doing, I hope you’re having a lovely day… and to my mum - Happy Mothers Day 💕

28/03/2025

This Mother’s Day, treat yourself to some well-deserved time to focus on YOU.

I’m offering a number of free 1 hour, online coaching sessions - so no matter where you are, you can take a moment for yourself.

We can chat about whatever’s on your mind, whether it’s for example:

- Feeling out of balance
- A bit stuck in where you are right now
- Feeling isolated and wanting more connection

This is your safe space to reflect, reset, and feel supported, all from the comfort of your own home.

Limited places available, so drop me a message with the words “Mother’s Day” and I’ll get you booked in!

26th March is Purple Day for Epilepsy 💜

The theme this year is Stand Up To Seizures- what does that mean to you?

Spring is here!

Did you manage to get out and enjoy the sunshine on this first day of spring?

The flowers were blooming, the sky bright and blue, but how are you feeling? Did this give you an extra spring in your step, or are you feeling a bit stuck in the day-to-day routine, whether that’s juggling the kids, within work, or the imbalance at home?

If that’s where you are right now, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Reach out if you’d like to chat, I’d love to hear from you.

Happy World Book Day!

When was the last time you took time out just for yourself and got lost in a good book – not reading to the children or rushing to pull together an outfit of their favourite character for school?! 🤦🏼‍♀️

As mums, we’re often so focused on everyone else that we forget what we enjoy. Taking small moments for yourself – like reading a book simply because you want to, can make such a difference to how you feel.

What was the last book you read just for you? Do you find time to read as much as you’d like? Any good recommendations?! 🤔

Half term can feel like a strategic chess match— juggling work, kids, and activities while avoiding a checkmate moment of overwhelm. So how do you stay ahead without burning out?

Ideas to Stay on Top:

♟️ Plan Your Moves – Map out the week, prioritising key activities and manageable tasks.

♟️ Prioritise – Focus on what truly matters and let go of the non-essentials.

♟️ Use Your Team – Share the load with your partner, family, or even the kids.

♟️Stay Adaptable – Be ready to adjust plans without stress when the unexpected happens.

♟️ Avoid Burnout – Take breaks to recharge, even if it’s just a quiet coffee or short walk.

♟️ Celebrate Wins – Every small success counts, acknowledge them!

Half term isn’t about perfection; it’s about managing your pieces wisely. How are you making your next move? Share your strategies below! ♟️

Mums, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. If you’ve been (or are) a stay-at-home mum, how did you feel others viewed you?

For some, it’s an incredibly rewarding experience - being there for every milestone, soaking in the everyday moments, and having precious time with your children that you’ll never get back.

For others, it can come with challenges… not just the relentless nature of being ‘on duty’ 24/7, but also how isolating it can be and how society perceives it. Did you ever feel like you had to justify your choice? That you weren’t as valued as mums juggling a job too? Did you feel looked down on?

I know every experience is different, and I’d love to hear yours. Whether it was positive, challenging, or a mix of both, let’s open up the conversation.

The snowy weather at the start of this year might have looked magical, and it’s been lots of fun for the children – playing outside, building snowmen, and making snow angels. But for many mums, it’s been anything but easy. Schools closed during that all-important first week back, routines thrown into chaos, and work-life balance feeling more like a slippery slope than a smooth ride. Sound familiar?

On top of that, there’s the added pressure of feeling like work is looking at you badly because you’ve had to stay home with the children. It’s tough to balance being the reliable employee and the devoted parent, especially when life throws unexpected challenges your way.

Add to that the feelings of isolation when you’re snowed in, and it’s no wonder so many of us feel overwhelmed. As mums, we’re used to juggling, but sometimes it can feel like the balls we’re keeping in the air are more like snowballs ready to melt into a mess.

If this resonates, you’re not alone. These moments of disruption can impact our mood, productivity, and sense of self.

Remember, you’re not alone in this, and it’s okay to reach out for support if you need it. If the challenges of this snowy season have left you feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I’m here to help. Let’s work together to find your way through.

After recently having an operation, I’ve had the rare chance to slow down, let the family take over decorating the tree, and indulge in ALOT of TV (and abit of reflecting!). One thing that has really stood out to me is this growing theme: women are stepping up and doing something just for themselves.

From celebrities heading into the jungle to show their kids (and themselves!) that they’re more than “just mum,” to Olympic athletes talking about proving you can embrace challenges and thrive, even with kids, to pop stars stepping out solo to chase their dreams as they have been in that group since they were teenagers, had their families, and do not know any different…

Yes, these are celebrities, but the underlying message is universal:

Carving out a space for yourself isn’t selfish—it’s essential:

For your purpose.
For your balance.
For your health and wellbeing.

So, here’s my question for you: What will YOU do for YOU in 2025?

*Commit to your self-care and wellbeing?
*Take on a new challenge?
* Pursue that long-held dream?

I’d love to hear your “for me” ideas - share them in the comments below.
