Our last few days of Easter fun together, now to begin my maternity leave and enjoy our last bit of time just me and Leonardo before the new addition joins our family 💙 I hope everyone has a lovely Easter, keep an eye out later in the year for updates, I will be looking to take on two new little ones next spring. A fantastic start into spring this week, we have been learning lots about minibeasts and exploring in the sunshine 🌞 We went on a minibeast hunt in the woods 🐞🐜 had lots of fun in the sun at the parks🛝 done some singing, sensory play, role play 🐝 and some beautiful minibeast artwork 🦋

A lovely creative day and a perfect example of how we extend learning and play from the children's interests, it all started with them playing with the Dinosaurs at playgroup, then loving our new Dinosaur car for our track at home. We then read Dinosaur Roar, discussed the different types of Dinosaurs using lots of great vocabulary, painted our own using great creative skills, then had some sticker fun, matching and drawing circles with the coloured dinosaur stickers. We also had some hiding and discovering Dinosaurs hatching from the plastic eggs 🥰
