A huge congratulations to everyone who competed in the 2026 Sussex County Championships and a special well done to the 20 Bede's players who represented the school so brilliantly throughout the competition!

🌟 Sienna reached the U18 Singles Final and claimed the U18 Doubles title with her partner. Harrison enjoyed an exceptional tournament, reaching the Men's Singles Final at just 15 years old, before teaming up with Levi to win the U18 Doubles title.

🌟 Congratulations also to Ngozi, who was crowned U16 Singles Champion, Rhys, who reached the the U18 Singles Final and U18 Doubles Final, Ethan, who reached the U16 Singles Final and Ethan and Mason, who finished as doubles finalists.

An outstanding set of results and a fantastic achievement for all involved! 🎉

Huge congratulations to Sixth Former pupil Mackenzie on an outstanding golfing achievement!

Mackenzie competed in the Junior European Open Qualifier, one of the world's largest and most prestigious junior golf competitions. Facing a field of more than 85 talented players, Mackenzie secured a top-three finish to qualify for the Junior European Open Finals in Spain this November.

We wish Mackenzie the very best of luck in the finals in Spain this November!

Our pupils are celebrating the school's best-ever GCSE results, proving that academic rigour and co-curricular passion go hand-in-hand! In this incredible year we have seen:

47% of all grades awarded at 9–7
100% 9–7 pass rate in Biology, Chemistry and Physics
100% Distinction Star in BTEC Dance
42% grade 9s in Drama & 65% 9–7 in English Literature

Pupils at Bede’s School are celebrating a historic academic milestone today, having achieved the finest A Level and BTEC results in the Sussex school’s history. An impressive 84% of all grades were awarded at A* to B, with a third of all grades (33%) achieved at the top A* level (or equivalent).
