Winnie has requested an urgent meeting with the schools HR manager and her union rep to look over her working contract and to discuss her holiday entitlement; she was sure today was the first day of the summer holidays and was not impressed with being expected to come in!!!

Despite spending most of her time here following me around, eating poo and chasing poor Ruffio, Winnie has brought a lot of joy to many of our children on the school farm this year, and is a firm favourite for many of the staff too!

She will be back in September for another year of school farm fun! Xx

Our reception children had a lovely morning on the farm yesterday, sat in the shade cutting out pictures from donated gardening magazines to create their own gardens, moving chooks around, mucking out the guinea pigs, playing with our goat kids, tieing up our giant sunflowers, finding pumpkins in the poly tunnel and searching for tadpoles!

All in all, a beautiful and wholesome morning on our school farm!
