At Busy Bodies we look after children from two years of age until they start school. Based at the Hall for Gwinear near Hayle, the Preschool aims to provide a safe and happy environment in which your children can discover that learning is fun. Established in 1986, Busy Bodies is a registered charity and is run by a committee of enthusiastic parents who help to ensure that the children are provided

with the best possible facilities and highest quality care. We are very proud of our experienced and well qualified team of staff who are constantly striving to improve on their qualifications and to find new ways of helping the children to learn through creative and enjoyable activities, thereby preparing them for school and the big wide world! Each child at the Preschool is assigned a Keyworker who oversees their learning development following the guidelines of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Busy Bodies is regularly inspected by Ofsted and has a comprehensive set of Policies and Procedures in place designed to keep both the children and staff safe and happy, these can be viewed at any time on request. Children can benefit from up to 15 hours of Government funded free sessions from the term after their third Birthday, we are happy to provide more information. If you would like an informal chat regarding the Busy Bodies Preschool experience please do not hesitate to contact us and we will arrange for you to be put in touch with one of our parents. This spring term has had its challenges, with lots of poorly children and staff, but that hasn’t stopped us from learning and growing together.
We’ve been working hard to keep our skills strong and have been very busy looking after our little bodies and busy minds. Through play, movement, creativity, and learning together, the children have continued to thrive and show such resilience 💛
