🌍🗺️ Where in the world are the major countries?

Today, Year 5 began their new Geography topic by revisiting and recapping their locational knowledge. Using atlases, the children explored the continents and practised locating some of the world’s major countries. 🌎📍

It was a great opportunity to refresh their geographical skills, build confidence using atlases and develop their understanding of our amazing world! 🌏👏

Some wonderful bakers in Year 3 and 4 yesterday. We compared the ingredients of shop bought bread to homemade bread and how unhealthy ultra-processed foods can be and the benefits of making fresh alternatives. Plus from our taste test, we decided homemade is much more delicious and also simple to do!

✝️ Celebrating the Feast of St Paulinus in Year 5! 🕯️✨

Today, Year 5 commemorated the Feast of St Paulinus by reflecting on his mission to bring the light of Christ to others. Inspired by his values, the children created their own class mission statement.

Year 3 and 4 put on their chefs’s hats yesterday for DT and made some tasty looking pizzas. They were investing ‘what really goes in our food’ and discovering how homemade food can be a lot better for us than processed food 💙🕊️

Year 5 continued their health related fitness topic by testing their fitness with a circuit full of different exercises.
