Fantastic resilience, determination and positivity shown by SFD 2 on their final visit to the coast this term.

Sadly, the choppy sea 🌊 meant the dolphins stayed out of sight, but we still spotted:

🐦 Black-headed Gulls
🐦 Kittiwakes
🐦 Cormorants
🐦 Pied Wagtails
🐦 Gannets
🐦 Herring Gulls

A great end to a fantastic term. Well done, SFD 2! 🙌

📚✨ Creativity was in full flow at Endeavour today as we welcomed Kat Lynas as part of the Crossing the Tees Book Festival.

A celebrated children’s book illustrator, Kat led a series of hands-on workshops, inspiring our students to explore illustration techniques and bring their own imaginative creatures to life.

Even more exciting? Their artwork will be showcased in the brand-new library opening soon in Redcar - a fantastic opportunity for our students to share their talent with the wider community.

SFE 1 worked on a variety of skills today while enjoying a self- guided history tour of Guisborough. The group developed their map-reading, orientation, reading, and teamwork skills throughout the activity. It is fair to say that everyone enjoyed learning about the history of Guisborough, exploring the historical background of many local buildings and discovering their original purposes and significance within the town.

Today, it was SFD1’s turn to take their Beach Box to Staithes as part of the Blue Influencer project.
The students thoroughly enjoyed sharing their box with members of the local community before exploring the village and visiting the fantastic sweet shop. It was a wonderful opportunity to engage with others, learn more about the local area, and represent the project with pride. 🌊😊

Our fantastic Supported Interns have been celebrating the end of term, and their time in Endeavour, with a rewards trip to bowling.
It has been a privilege to witness the incredible journey the learners have been on since joining Endeavour. We are incredibly proud of them as they start to transition into employment 💜

☕ Our Endeavour Coffee Morning last week was a brilliant start to the day — and proof that a warm welcome, a good cake, and the right conversation can make all the difference.

Families, providers and future students came along to find out more about what Endeavour offers for young people with a range of learning needs across our region. Our fantastic student ambassadors were there to greet everyone, and our specialist team were on hand to talk through individual needs and next steps.

☀️ COMMUNITY SPIRIT AT BLOOMS COFFEE BOX ☀️

On Monday we had the pleasure of welcoming the amazing Endeavour students from Prior Pursglove College to Blooms Coffee Box! 💙☕️

These fantastic young people are taking part in the Blue Influencer Project — volunteering their time to help protect and improve our coastline for both people and wildlife, whilst developing a love for our beautiful wild spaces 🌊🌿

It was brilliant to see such positivity, teamwork, and community spirit at Skinningrove. We’re proud to support projects that help keep our coastline clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

Thank you all for coming down and for the incredible work you’re doing 👏
