Professional circus and dance artist Lucy will lead our first summer workshop day.

Lucy graduated from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, receiving a scholarship to train in dance. As well as being a dancer, Lucy is a trained circus artist. She has performed all over the UK and abroad with many top companies and agencies. With these skills, Lucy has performed with Pixie Lott, Stormzy, Rudimental, Danny Howard, Foxes and Craig David, to name a few. Lucy has over 10 years of industry experience and can’t wait to share her skills with you.

Join us on Thursday 3rd August, at the QEP Centre, Guildford
- 9:00-9:45 ages 2-4yrs
- 10:00-3:00 ages 4+

Some words I wrote for the RAD about why it is important for dance teachers to keep developing their craft, and to hold values of accessibility, safe dance practice and student wellbeing at their core 🩰

"As well as being a freelance teacher around Surrey and Berkshire, I also run my own dance school. I’m highly enthusiastic about furthering my teaching knowledge, to keep relevant and inspiring for my students, so I chose to study the BA (Hons) Dance Education.
The RAD staff and tutors have a wealth of knowledge and have also supported my dyslexic learning, their inclusive approach inspires me to continue my dance teaching development, and I am excited to see what the future holds."
