St Nicolas’ Infant School

Year 2 did archery, challenge course, team tasks and woodland skills at Henley Fort for their leavers treat. They also had a water fight and soaked their teachers! They had so much fun!

Good luck to our year two leavers - we will miss you, but are so excited for your new adventures!

After collecting a HUGE number of values Pom Poms for displaying our school values this year, the children received a golden ticket to a very special rainbow party on the playground today!

We had a fantastic sports morning at school today! The children took part in an obstacle race, dribbling footballs, standing jump, bean bag throwing and javelin! Well done everyone 👏🏻

Ewa Voigt from Healthful brought her Food Science Lab to St Nics’ this week. Year 2 made Power Banollies, learning about the superpowers of the different ingredients and even a bit about their history. They had a wonderful time making a healthy refreshing treat!

A little surprise theme for our reception class for the last week and a bit of term!

Our Head read a story to the children and their families after school on Friday for our annual Story Picnic. Once Upon A Wild Wood was the perfect choice for a shady spot in our forest school area! 📚 🌳

What a fabulous day for a whole school trip to rhswisley! We found plenty of shade and plenty of fun! Lots of fascinating things to discover, paint and draw!

Our incoming Reception children came to stay and play this week. They had a wonderful time exploring Beech classroom and outside area. They also got some “ready confetti” to sprinkle under their pillow the night before the big day in September!
