A cracking start to our Guildford term at The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. We’ve launched into our Adventures Around the World topic, jumping with frogs from Japan and singing with a donkey from Jamaica. We have classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Taster sessions are available if you’d like to come and join us!

Have you received news of a Primary School place today? Our pre-school music class on Tuesdays at The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre is a great place to help your little one build some school-ready skills. We start next week: come and join us!

Whilst having a huge amount of fun, a regular appointment with a Little Notes musician is secretly setting you up for a successful transition into school life.

Bring it on! 🌊 ☀️ 🎶

Nearly time for a new term, bursting with musical summer adventures. We love finding a musical soundtrack to every bit of life for 0-5’s

Gosh, we're blushing right now

Big news! We’ve listened to you telling us how much you enjoy our classes and your requests for classes for adults. So, we’ve teamed up with our friends at Little Crèche and, with immediate effect, all children will now be supervised in a separate room during Little Notes sessions. This means that you can enjoy all the live music, instruments, parachute, puppets and bubbles without having to share. More info at noon today.

After our 174th (honestly!) and final class of the term yesterday, it was a joy to chat with a Dad attending for the first time and be told “I can honestly say that’s the most fun 40 minutes I’ve had in ages! I’ve never been so close-up to a musician playing instruments- it’s an amazing experience to see the fingers moving and watch the sound being made.
When can I come back?
Do you do a class for adults?”
And this is why we love our job: there is nothing we’d rather do than share live music and we suspect this close-up access is why all the children love it too! Thank you, Little Notes families, for joining in all the fun and craziness. Enjoy the break before we launch into our summer term sessions on April 21st. Booking is open at the The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre box office.
Thanks for being so totally wonderful this term and for all the joy ❤️

It’s been such a laugh singing the pancake song with everyone in class- hope you all get a chance to use your skills today!

Pancakes, snowballs and dragons brought this half term to a fun close (as well as all the usual live music, of course!). We are loving bringing the Little Notes fun to Guildford families and look forward to more wonderful sessions after the half-term break at The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. We still have a few spaces in each of our classes and free tasters can be booked by emailing [email protected]

Our new “Winter” topic brings some very high sounds, like a robin and beautiful music from China to celebrate Chinese New Year. Our classes are bursting with live music in the inspirational setting of the river room at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre
