ose who play instruments from Grade 1-6 standard. I shall be running a summer musicianship club incorporating theory of music, aural skills and games and music appreciation. The club will be run at my house so there will be a limit of 8 participants each day. I will be assisted by an A level music student. I have 29 years teaching experience, in performance, music theory and general musicianship. I specialize in bringing music theory alive and making it relevant to the enjoyment of listening or playing an instrument. These classes will be suitable for beginners, up to those working for Grade 5 theory/Grade 6 practical. Aural work and musicianship games will be tailored to the level and ability of the participants. A portion of the day will be devoted to listening to great works from the classical repertoire, during which the students can either relax and dream, or produce artwork inspired by what they are hearing. There will be at least 30-45 minutes of physical activity in the nearby park each day. I have an full, enhanced CRB. NB I have two small, very friendly dogs! Contact: [email protected]
