The last in my Five Years of Caterpillar Music series is all about Kat and her boys. Kat was with me right from the start and has just left after over five years of weekly Caterpillar Music classes - that’s close to 200 classes!

Classes have now finished for the summer holidays. I’ll be catching up on admin, lesson planning and visiting my nurseries this week.

What a week it’s been. 16 school leavers, more going to preschool, some of you back to work and others leaving for new adventures. I said goodbye to two mums who’ve been with me for five years and one who’s been with me for six years, before I even owned Caterpillar Music.

I’ve seen and heard about little moments away from class that have made my heart sing. You make friends in my class then socialise afterwards - I can’t tell you how much that means to me! Some of you are even planning to meet in the summer holidays.

This job is so very rewarding, as I’m sure you can all see, but it’s not just about the children. I adore them, of course, but it’s also about YOU. Thank you for being the best customers in the world. # #
